During tests on tool steel with the VHPM end mill at a customer, Van Hoorn Carbide managed to reduce the cycle time of its production process from 12 minutes to 3 minutes.

At first this customer wasn't using Van Hoorn Carbide end mills, and complained about a slow product process. Due to the knowledge of our application- and product engineers, our quality end mills and the ability to visit the customer to put the materials to a test, our engineer was able to convince the customer to use our end mills. At the same time the customer was informed about the right way to use it.

This way we managed to improve the production process of our customers, and reduce their costs per product. Look at the test report for the results of the test.
